Alcazàr, Seville, Spain

Alcazàr is the Royal Palace in Seville. Like other places in this part of Spain, the monument has changed hands from the Almohades to the Spanish Catholics. All around the blue motifs, there is an inscription written in Spanish about the glory and the victory of the Catholics. However, the blue motif is actually a message written in stylised Arabic that says “Allah is the only conqueror”.
